General Description:
(microphones appropriate for venue)
- PROVIDE 5 piece jazz drum set, with thin, coated drumheads.
- All components (hardware, heads, etc.) to be in excellent condition.
- Gretsch, Sonor, Ayotte preferred.
Any variations from these specifications must be cleared in advance with by Andrew Drury, the drummer.
Drum details:
- 18" or 20" bass drum. Both heads on, no holes in the heads, no muffling (i.e., foam rubber, blankets) inside or outside the drum.
- 5" x 14" snare
- 8" x 12" small mounted tom
- 9" x 13" large mounted tom
- 14" or 16" floor tom
Heads:
- Thin, batter coated heads: Remo Ambassador heads preferred.
- No pin stripe heads, no black dot heads, no oil or water base heads, no fiber-skin heads.
- All drums must have heads on top and bottom. No holes or dents in heads. No muffling inside or outside the heads.
Hardware, etcetera:
- 3 or 4 cymbal stands. These stands must only hold cymbals, not drums.
- 1 hi hat stand
- 1 bass drum pedal, DW preferred
- 1 small table (minimum size approximately 18" x 24") for small percussion instruments
- 1 stool
- 1 music stand
- 1 music stand light
- small carpet to prevent drums from sliding on floor
